Everyone, even those who are well off, wants an extra income source. What if you could get just that with as little as an hour or two of work per day on the side? You can do this with a bit of hard work, consistency and by working intelligently. Two methods in particular that are easy for beginners to make extra money online are ppd sites. Both require almost no investment and can provide anywhere from a few extra dollars to a small addition of a hundred bucks a month.
Both methods only require two things: a website and content that people want. You'll need a place to post content to and it doesn't matter if it's a free blog. This is necessary because you'll need something that allows you to increase your conversion rate as a sort of pre-sales page. It's also good to have an independent website in case your content locker, affiliate company or pay-per-download affiliate ends up going belly up.
The content part should be self-explanatory. It doesn't matter if it's a list of video games coming out this month, dog grooming tips and tricks or even a recipe for a fine piece of home-cooked cuisine. It just has to be something that people are willing to do a few things to get. Typically these "things" will come in the form of completing actions such as opting in for trial offers, joining a ringtone program for mobile phones or something as simple as entering an email address for an offer. What a person has to do in order to get their hands on what you are offering them should be something that is of an approximate value as to what they could gain. That means you shouldn't request a person to fill out a survey that takes half an hour to finish or complete a mobile offer that costs them $19.99 in order to obtain instructions on something commonplace such as how to clean their dryer's lint filter.
Once you have a website with content, a finished product that you want to offer people and your chosen method of making money set up, it's time to start drawing in people to your offer. If you have something unique, you may find that your site is receiving traffic from search engines already.
If you have something unique but doesn't quite rank for results, you may instead decide to advertise on popular video sharing websites. Generally these results will rank higher in major search engines in Google than a brand new site. The easiest way is to use a free slide show video creator or a desktop recording program, throw some free use music on it, then watermark your video and link your website somewhere in the description.
The part about dedication comes in here as one video alone will not make extra money online for you. In order to get hundreds of visitors a day to your website (and hundreds of potential conversions), you need to post several hundred videos online. In order to be successful with this, you should target keywords that do not have videos showing up in search results already or ones that have very few.
